So the time has come for a summary and to announce our winner.

We had a couple image entries that we posted, like this one of Robert in his chair with his tattoo and underwear showing, or the one we received from amateur hunk earlier with his white jock.

We also got an image in of a guy that had all his junk tattooed, talk about trouser snake! (That’s what image was tattooed).

There were some clever ideas too, like this one:

What if there was a sun on one cheek and a moon on the other?

The could be interesting…talk about moon’s over my hammy…Suns seemed to be a theme too, like in this one from Michelle:

I find it hot when a guy has a sun tattooed over his belly button. My ex had one and seeing that with him in his underwear always got me going!

Another reader had one, but couldn’t get a picture in on time. Of his, he writes:

I have a tribal tattoo going down where I should have a treasure trail. Just the top of it peaks out of the top of my briefs, but it’s enough to get people to want to see more.

We had lots more people write in (I wish they had sent pictures!), but we had such a huge response right off the bat from Robert’s picture that we decided he had to be the winner! So congrats Robert! And feel free to send us more pictures!

We’re still working on the format to get more people involved and to make it easier for everyone to participate, so if you have any ideas on how we can improve or men’s underwear related contests you would like to see, let me know!

There seems to be a theme to some of our best selling products…Anything that increases the size of the bulge tends to sell well.

Sometimes there is an insert that creates the illusion of a larger package, sometimes there is a built in sling, like this C-IN2 brief with sling support, and other times there are built in cock rings.

I have a couple pair of sling support briefs, and they work really well; the profile it gives you is really nice, especially in a tight pair of jeans! The only drawbacks I have found are:

1. After a while, they sometimes start to not be as comfortable. They aren’t something I would wear to work every day.

Yesterday was Black Monday or Cyber Monday, depending on who you talk to. It’s traditionally the busiest day for online companies like YourPrivates.com.

Like most online stores, we have some great deals with more planned and all that. We’ve had a busy few months here and the last few weeks before Christmas will be just as busy as we fill Christmas orders.

Business for us was good too, and as the orders came in something hit me like a bullet. I have not even started my own Christmas shopping and I am helping other people do theirs every day!

I need to get on the stick.

Anyways, I want to know what you want for Christmas with an underwear twist. If someone special was going to surprise you with something sexy on Christmas Eve, what would you want to be surprised with?

(My choice? I’d like a new pair of Ginch Gonch Jolly Cocks briefs or this stainless steel chain from Urban Steel.

The contest *should* have ended on Thursday, but it was a holiday and some readers got creative with some more ideas, so we have extended it until this Thursday.  Most of the entries have been descriptions of what people think would look great, and a few we can’t really post here (but still welcome!).

This is a topic that we seem to go round and round with here at YP world headquarters: What muscle shape and definition are a must for an underwear model?

Some people say that thighs are important, but even that camp is divided.  Some of the thigh camp says they should be very muscular to really show off the legs in the underwear and what better way to show off a sexy men’s thong?  Others in the thigh camp say they should be defined, but thin so they don’t distract from the underwear.

Then you have the chest fans.  Chest?  Yes, chest.  Some people believe that if a model has a great chest, people will be more drawn to look at the picture and hence sell more briefs.  But what kind of chest would draw people in?  A strong, defined chest seems to be the winner at our camp, but then we can’t decide what too strong is.  And yeah, there are some who think that a leaner, less defined chest is the way to go.

And then we have the ab camp.  This is probably the biggest camp internally, but again we have our differences.  Does the model need a 6 pack?  An 8 pack?  Is it really the defined area just below the 6 pack that really matters?  What would entice you to pick up a sexy bikini brief?

So I thought I would take it to the streets.  What do you guys think about underwear models?  If you had to pick one muscle group to be the most important while showing off a jockstrap, what group would it be?  What muscle makes you look best in your boxer brief?

While I do not have any tattoos at present, I’ve always thought that a snake (cobra?) emerging from my pubic bush and perhaps reaching up to my navel, with its jaws open and tongue flicking, would be extremely erotic (trouser snake!)

I find it interesting that when a topic comes up in one part of my life, it tends to bleed over into others as well. Let’s take tattoos for example.

A short time ago I went to have dinner with some friends which ended up in one of those late night “let’s all get tattoos or get something pierced” moments. Come on, come on, you’ve all had them. Of course no one felt as enthusiastic as we did when we showed up, so nothing happened, but that’s what got the ball rolling.

They seem to just appear in conversations now. For example, someone at lunch last week told me they were thinking about getting a tattoo of “something spiritual” on their arm, so I told them about the guy I know who pretty much has the Kundalini Rising coming up his back.

Yesterday there was a debate on whether or not guys should get a sun tattoo or not. Some people said no, not manly enough, others said it would depend on where the sun would be.

Which got me to thinking about my readers. Do any of you have tattoos? I’d like to figure out what the best tattoo would be if you were going to be seen in your underwear.

Would it be something on your chest? Your belly button? Something that would peak above your underwear, but still plunge below? Front side or back side?

Tell me what you think about tattoos, tell me if you have them, and send me pictures of your favorites.

We could make it a contest even.
