Monday Melee at YourPrivates.com

Ready for something a little different this week?  The concept is the same, but this week we are going to do two things a little different.  First, we aren’t having competing clothes, but rather competing lubes.  Not only that, but we are going to compare two lubes from the same company.

The first lube on the block is Gun Oil (oil based, not condom safe).  One of the newer kids on the block, Gun Oil has found a huge audience.  The second is Stroke29 (again, oil based and not condom safe).  Stroke29 is more of a cream than an oil.

So please welcome with me out new competitors:

Gun Oil vs. Stroke29

Gun Oil
Stroke 29
Gun Oil Personal Lube Stroke29
  • Liquid Base
  • Can be used alone or with a friend (not condom safe)
  • Greate to use with toys
  • Cream Based
  • Changes sensation around stroke 29
  • Unique feel

While your voting this week, we’d love to get comments or reviews on both of these items from you guys.
And don’t forget to pick up last week’s winner at 15% off!

In the Pink

Empowered Products Pink Lube for WomenThat’s right, there are no stupid questions and yes I will keep you anonymous. :) This one is actually very good.

I don’t mean to sound crude, but my girlfriend is really dry.  I want to use lube or something, but she doesn’t want to because she says she gets a rash.  Do you have any suggestions?

Why yes, actually, I do.  Some women don’t like the lubes you can buy right off the shelf because they don’t like how the look or are embarrassed to buy them, but there is a new player out there who has a fantastic alternative.

It’s called Pink and is form Empowered Products, makers of Stroke 29, Jack Jelly, and Gun Oil.  When we first got this in, I gave it to friends to try and everyone agreed: this is a great lube.

It’s silky soft, works very well, and comes in an Italian glass bottle so it blends in easily on a women’s night stand.

So if you are looking for something new to try, this might work out better for you.

Hurry Up Already!

Wednesday, March 29th, 2006

Empowered Products Jack Jelly Head Spread at YourPrivates.comIt seems I am picking up more and more readers (hey everyone!) and some of you are drifting all the ways back to my first post which…uhh…reviewed a product that wasn’t really underwear.

Apparently some of you want more reviews of those products as well, so this post is for you.

The last product like this that I reviewed was Stroke29 from Empowered Products.  If you’re remember, as the product warms up it almost seems like it changes the consistency of your skin, making it so smooth and soft…it’s really amazing!

One of the downsides to this is that, well, you have to wait for it to warm up (generally around stroke 29, get it?) and then really relish in the experience!  But what if you are in a hurry?  I mean, some times you just want to get it done.  Ever have one of those nights where you are just exhausted, but need a little release?  Yeah, me too.  And waiting for something to warm up isn’t going to cut it.

In comes Jack Jelly Head Spread.  This stuff is incredibly slick and for me gets makes the sensations much higher.  So much so, in fact, that it doesn’t take long at all to reach a climax.  So when I am in a hurry, and need to get the job done, Jack Jelly Head Spread is what I pull out of my nightstand.

Keeping your Nightstand Organized

Tuesday, March 14th, 2006

Spring to me happens to be the time of year when I am more social. It’s the time I reach out to old friends and try to see them again, it’s the time I go out and actively look for new friends, and…well…I don’t know, I just feel energized and ready to take on the world.

So recently there have been many visitors to the Chris house; old friends stopping by for the weekend, new friends dropping by for a drink, random strangers trying to sell me bars of chocolate.

What’s different this Spring from other Springs is my job. I obviously have underwear. Lots of it. But then also items from our lubes category or from our romance area. On here, it sounds ok to say. You know me as the guy who tests stuff out for the company, the visitors to my home know me as the guy with 3 bottles of lube on his end table. (No seriously, the Boy Butter is great for chapped lips or dry elbows!)

Devine Toys Condom Cube at YourPrivates.comOne of my friends just laughed when I told her about what was going on, and she mentioned that was one of the reasons she loved Pink; the bottle looks like perfume. That got me to thinking…there are things that guys keep in their drawer that are always awkward to get to. If someone were to open up that drawer, they might even be horrified, and heaven forbid we keep any on the nightstand.

I’m talking about condoms. And I am talking about the perfect way to hide them; the Condom Cube from Devine Toys. The Condom Cube looks great, is small, and holds enough of your condoms so that you don’t end up having to dig around for more.

The easy to open and easy to seal box looks great to, and is not hard to explain away when Mom comes by and asks what’s inside.

Check out the Devine Toys Condom Cubes today, and get your condoms and nightstand a little more organized.

What a Week!

Saturday, January 21st, 2006

Man, let me tell you the past couple weeks have been busy busy here at YP headquarters.  As some of you out there (our fans) know, we have undergone a lot of cool changes, and everyone here has been working non-stop to make them possible.

Because of all the long hours and weekend work that people have put in, we made sure that we started making people go out and rest some so that they were as fresh as possible when they were here, and one of the things we did was get everyone a massage.

And that got me to thinking, we have yet to talk about any of the romance items here at YourPrivates.com!  With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, it’s probably something we should discuss.

Kama Sutra Massage Oil at YourPrivates.comSince I just got back from my company sponsored massage, I thought I would talk about the sweet smell of sweet almonds.  That’s right, Sweet Almond massage oils from Kama Sutra.

Do and your special someone give eachother massages?  I mean, who doesn’t like them?  Well, this is one of my favorite massage oils.

It’s light, not greasy, and the smell is…well…nice.  It doesn’t smell herby or obscene, just…nice, so it’s great for men or women.  And with vitamin E, it’s great for the skin.

So what are you waiting for?  Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, pick up a couple bottles of massage oil and get some practice in before the big day.  And while you’re at it, pick up a few other items to help enhance your romantic experience!

Night Fever…Night Fever

Friday, January 20th, 2006

It’s Friday, time to have some fun on the blog!  JM Skinz Boxer Brief at YourPrivates.comAnd yes, I’m listening to disco on my iPOD today.  So as the Bee Gee’s are singing to me, it dawns on me what I need to post about today….sex in the dark.  I’m talking NO lights at all, where you have to feel your way around.  Times such as these, when you don’t have your sight, other senses are hightened, such as touch.

Now when you find yourself having some fun in the dark, remember that and make sure you have on some underwear that feel great.  I love the feel of the JM Skinz.  They feel so silky against your skin.  They make them in all the basic cuts, so you can pick whatever is your favorite.  My personal favorite are the Skinz Boxer Briefs.

And since we are in the dark…don’t forget the Night Light Glow-in-the-Dark condoms!

Stroke 29

Tuesday, January 10th, 2006

With all of the havoc behind us (things are finally cleared up), I decided it was time to take matters into my own hands, dig in, and start producing some real posts! With that in mind, I thought I would tell you about a great product.

Stroke 29 at YourPrivates.comDo you ever get tired of your lube making the mess when your on your own? If so, Stroke 29 by Empowered Products may be the answer for you. What amazed me the most about this cream like lube was the thickness. How could it work without being clumpy?

Well I have no idea how, but it does. And not only does it work, but the more your body heats it up, the more it becomes one with your skin creating a truly unique experience.

Buy some Stroke 29 today and give it a try today, or if you have already used it, why not write a review?
